How can I download the app?
In order to download the app, please visit the App Store on your iPhone or the Google Play store on Android and search for “Scotia Insurance Home and Auto”. Select the Scotia Insurance Home & Auto App and proceed to downloading it. Once it’s loaded on your phone, simply select it and get started!
What is a digital proof of insurance?
Your digital proof of insurance is a digital copy of your proof of insurance (also called pink slip) that you can find directly in the Intact Assurance app. Your digital proof of insurance is valid in Quebec, Ontario, Alberta, Nova Scotia, Northwest Territories, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador. With the Intact Insurance app, you’ll always have your proof of insurance on hand when needed – no need to search for it in the glove box!
What information is on the digital proof of insurance?
On your digital proof of insurance, you will find the name of your insurance company with your policy number, coverage dates, name, address, and the year, make, model and serial number of your vehicle.
How do I access my digital proof of insurance?
Access your digital proof of insurance from the homepage of the app with the shortcut at the top of the screen.
Use the Wallet app on your iPhone for secure access or add a widget to the home screen of your Android device.

Home insurance companies will use many factors to calculate your premium. Some of these factors include:
