Canada Post service disruption is in effect. Manage your coverage, payments, claims, and view your home and auto insurance documents, including your new pink slip online. Contact us for assistance.
Refer to the question "What happens if I delete the Scotia Home & Auto Insurance App " if you uninstalled the App.
If you cancel your Smarter ride enrollment, you will no longer be able to access the Smarter ride section in the App. Check your car insurance policy to see if your driving habits are still being used to adjust your price. If there's no mention of Smarter ride in your policy, then you're no longer registered, and your driving data is not being used to personalize your premium.
Consult your quarterly Smarter ride email or contact us if you want to know if the premium of your car insurance will increase or decrease because of your previously collected driving data. You can join again if you still meet Smarter ride 's eligibility criteria by contacting us at 1-833-460-8162.

How can I submit a car insurance claim online?
It’s quite simple! You can either open the Scotia Insurance Home & Auto app on your phone or login to Client Centre. You will see “Claims” on the home screen. From there, follow the steps for a car or home claim.
How will my personalized premium apply if I have more than one car and more than one driver on my car insurance?
We will adjust the premium to insure your car based on your driving habits.
We will also adjust the premium to insure the cars of other Enrolled Drivers on your insurance policy based on their driving habits.
There will be no Adjustment for principal drivers on your car insurance policy who are not enrolled in Smarter ride.
For Example:
There are two cars on the same insurance policy, and both drivers are enrolled in Smarter ride: The premium for each car will be adjusted according to the driving habits of that car’s Enrolled Driver.
There are two cars on the same insurance policy, but only one driver is enrolled in Smarter ride: The price will be adjusted for only one car according to the driving habits of that car’s Enrolled Driver.
Someone else was using my phone while I was driving. What now?
Go to "All trips" and select "A passenger was using my phone" within 30 days of completing the trip. This distracted driving event will then be removed from your trip summary. You can also contact us if you need to correct any other information in the App.
Who has access to my trips?
Information about your driving habits and trips is only shared with TrueMotion, Inc., a mobile telematics company. We work with this service provider for the technology, systems, and services necessary to run Smarter ride.
Is there an additional charge for Crash Assist?
